Description: In this hands on course, learn to design and build web sites using Adobe's web site design package Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver includes an HTML editor that performs all the basics of other HTML editors, plus allows you to manipulate and control HTML code as well as site management using a powerful GUI interface. Also learn how Dreamweaver allows the customization of web sites by creating Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript, DHTML, and navigation bars written in JavaScript or Flash. Other topics include image manipulation, behaviors, and Dreamweaver's FTP client.

Version: Adobe Dreamweaver CS3

Audience: This course is for students who want to expand their knowledge of web tools.

Prerequisites: Getting Started With HTML (HTML01), or equivalent experience.

Objectives:

  • Create visually appealing web sites using Adobe's Dreamweaver
  • Publish and maintain a Web site using Dreamweaver
  • Include text, graphics, tables, forms and frames on Web pages created with Dreamweaver
  • Use Adobe's Dreamweaver code editor and design editor
  • Use Adobe's Dreamweaver automation features including navigation bars, image rollovers and flash objects
