This course explores key virtualization concepts and best practices required to successfully implement and support a virtual infrastructure. The core curriculum covers VMware technologies, but goes beyond the typical "install and configure" class to offer considerable real world best practices. Expanded concepts include best practices for architecture around storage, network, security and management. Implementing industry best of breed vendors such as Vizioncore and Platespin are also covered to provide a well-rounded knowledge base for migrations and business continuity.
This course is for system administrators, systems engineers, and operators responsible for ESX Server and/or VirtualCenter.
